We are thrilled to be offering an intimate and exclusive in-studio training setting for young aspiring dancers this summer at The Ballet Lab! After carefully reviewing the current government guidelines and consulting with Ontario Public Health, we are pleased to offer this unique and individualized program.

ADVANCED ( Ages 15+) Studio A ( maximum 14 students + 1 teacher)
INTERMEDIATE ( Ages 12-14) Studio B ( maximum 14 students + 1 teacher)
JUNIOR ( Ages 10-11) Studio C ( maximum 9 students + 1 teacher)
MINI ( Ages 5-8) Studio D ( maximum 9 students + 1 teacher)

  • Students will be screened daily, this includes a temperature check and a health screening questionnaire.

  • Increased sanitary measures will be taking place throughout the program.

  • Studios will be disinfected top to bottom prior to the start of everyday and at the end of      everyday. Students and teachers will be required to sanitize their hands upon entry and exit of the studio and regularly throughout classes. Ballet Barres will be disinfected after every use.

  • In order to maintain safe distance (minimum 6ft apart) every dancer will have their individual dance space marked out on the floor and barre. This will be their spot for the entirety of the week. Dancers will remain in the same studio for the entire program.

  • There will be no physical contact throughout the program, this includes no hands on corrections.

  • There will be no dressing room access. Dancers will bring their dance bag into the studio with them and leave it under the barre. Studios will be treated like dressing rooms in between classes so blinds will be kept shut, and teachers will exit allowing for privacy of students who wish to change.  Students are to eat lunch in their studio or outdoors in the courtyard. Lunch will be supervised to ensure proper physical distance is maintained.

  • Bathrooms will be monitored and sanitized regularly.

  • Parents will not be allowed into the studios or common areas to avoid larger group gatherings. Drop Off/ Pick Up must occur outside of the building.

  • Masks are required in the common areas and bathrooms but are not mandatory during physical activity.
