ACE Dance Theatre collaborates with leading local and international artists to create contemporary and classical works of depth and distinction. As a professional creative platform, ACE partners on commissioned choreography, corporate engagements, film, and live stage productions.
Founded by Liana Bellissimo and Tara Pillon, ACE was created from a shared belief: if you don’t see it, you build it. The company was established to cultivate dancers who embody both athletic strength and artistic depth - where classical discipline meets contemporary exploration. ACE champions thoughtful training and lasting impact. Our work is grounded in a strong ballet and contemporary foundation, enriched by modern and jazz influences, and shaped through collaboration with both local and international artists.
In addition to our professional work, we are committed to developing dancers who are versatile, resilient, and prepared for long-term growth - on stage and beyond. ACE’s philosophy extends through our Junior ACES Program- a pre-professional performance company for emerging artists, the Ballet Lab - an intensive workshop dedicated to strengthening foundational technique and artistry, and the Body Lab - an online training platform supporting strength, mobility, and sustainable performance. At every level, our goal remains the same: To build strong bodies, compelling artists, and meaningful work.

ACE Dance Theatre captivates audiences by showcasing and nurturing both the athlete and the artist within the dancer. The company prides itself on its technique and versatility, rooted in the technical foundation of ballet and contemporary, while drawing influences from modern and jazz techniques. ACE Dance Theatre collaborates with both local and external artists, contributing to a unique and diverse company repertoire.
